Counseling Center Response to Tragedy in Las Vegas

We are deeply saddened by the tragedy in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 1st. The Counseling Center is committed to providing resources and support for NC State students who are experiencing distress related to this event. We recognize that this could be a very difficult time for many of our students who are from that area or know others who are from the area. Students affected by the shooting might be experiencing a range of emotions including sadness, disbelief, fear, anger or any mix of these emotions. If you are experiencing significant​ distress related to this event, we encourage you to visit the Counseling Center during regular business hours. If support is needed after hours, please contact us at 919.515.2423 and select option #2 to speak to an emergency counselor.
