A happy, healthy campus starts with knowledgeable and engaged members of the campus community. The Counseling Center empowers students, faculty, and staff by offering free workshops on relevant mental health and wellness topics.
Drop-in Groups
In a drop-in group, you’ll explore, discuss, and, ultimately, better understand a wellness or mental health topic relevant to the campus community.
Workshops are held at the Counseling Center or other campus locations, and registration isn’t required.
See the current Drop-In Groups schedule.
Suicide Prevention Training
Learn how to identify and help students who are most in need of mental health services. As part of the university’s suicide prevention initiative, the Counseling Center holds frequent Question, Persuade, and Refer (QPR) trainings throughout the term.
Register online for these workshops.
Please register for workshops by noon on the day of the workshop and check in a few minutes early in room 2301 of the Student Health Center. If you have any questions, call the Counseling Center at 919-515-2423.
