Bio

Grace Hairr is a doctoral student in the Educational Leadership, Policy, and Human Development (ELPHD) program with a concentration in Counseling and Counselor Education at North Carolina State University. She received her Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2024. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counseling Associate (LCMHC-A) and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate (LCAS-A). Grace has experience working with substance use and eating disorder related concerns in the Intensive Outpatient level of care. She has clinical interest in issues related to Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), trauma, and identity development. Grace creates a counseling relationship based on acceptance and connection as individuals explore mental health concerns and healing. She provides client-centered care to individuals drawing from Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and an electric lens in order to support clients navigating their concerns.
