Stop the Stigma

Stop the Stigma logoCollege students often discuss their personal and emotional concerns with family, friends, or professors. This means that you are in a unique position to help students and their peers find support when they need it. A key part of that is talking openly about mental health issues.

Help Us Stop the Stigma

The Counseling Center was honored to receive support from the Student Success Fund this year to continue the Stop the Stigma campaign.

Our goal is to raise awareness of mental health issues on our campus, help students understand how common these issues are, and help every student benefit from the treatment available at NC State and in the larger community.

We are asking you to partner with us in this effort to support those in need. Together, we can make our campus healthier, safer, and more productive.

We thank you in advance for your commitment to our students!

Suicide Prevention

You can play a crucial role in suicide prevention on campus by recognizing warning signs and helping students get the support they need. You can learn more about how to get educated and get involved through NCSU Prevention Services suicide prevention programming.
