Bio

Brittney is a counselor who enjoys working with students in an on-campus setting. She has experience working with a variety of presenting concerns, such as stress management, depression, anxiety, communication, relationships, grief, and cultural concerns. Brittney adheres to a therapeutic approach that is primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which also incorporates elements of Person-Centered Therapy. The types of interventions she uses are dependent on client needs and will be discussed in session. Her particular focus is tailored to the needs of the client(s). Through a collaborative effort, she wishes to create a safe space where students can discuss their life experiences and goals for counseling.
