Bio
Daniel is a licensed clinical mental health counselor and clinical supervisor. He has been working as a counselor since 2012, when he joined the NC State University Counseling Center as a graduate assistant. Daniel’s clinical work leans into Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and trauma-informed care. Counseling with Daniel is collaborative and recognizes the student’s autonomy. Daniel believes that therapy should always emphasize the client’s humanity and individuality. In addition to his clinical work, Daniel coordinates the Counseling Center’s role in facilitating term withdrawals and course drops due to extenuating circumstances.
