Interests Include: Working with students on issues related to academic related challenges (study habits, procrastination, time management), relationship concerns, mood disorders ( depression/anxiety), Substance use disorders, general stress, marital/parenting related concerns, adjustment related concerns, grief and loss, cultural shock, challenges of being an international student and self-esteem/ self-confidence related concerns.
I incorporate a collaborative approach to therapy including but not limited to Rogerian Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution/Strength Focused Brief Therapy. I work as a Generalist Counselor.
