Eating Disorder Coordinator
Coordinator of Eating Concerns
Bio
M.Ed./Ed.S. (2012) Mental Health Counseling, University of Florida
My primary specialties include eating disorders, anxiety disorders, long-term chronic depression, and other difficult-to-treat disorders. I also have training and experience working with neurodivergent individuals and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (RO-DBT), and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. As a clinician, I take a person-centered approach to therapy and help clients identify how their biology, personal history, and current environments interact to create the problems for which they are seeking treatment. I then use the client’s values to help them engage in problem-solving, and develop new coping skills and strategies for interacting with others.
