Bio
Jorie is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor serving as an embedded counselor with the Pride Center. He takes a collaborative approach to counseling, drawing from person-centered care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness practices to tailor support to each person’s unique needs. Jorie’s training and experience have equipped him for supporting a variety of concerns from anxiety and depression to emotional regulation and time management skills, with a focus on identity exploration and belonging. Outside of counseling, he enjoys reading, baking, gaming, beekeeping, and naps with his tabby cat.
