Counseling Telehealth by AcademicLiveCare

In addition to the robust counseling services offered through the NC State Counseling Center, we have partnered with AcademicLiveCare to expand the services available to our students.

All NC State degree-seeking students can access up to twelve free Telehealth counseling appointments over the next calendar year through the platform.

All AcademicLiveCare mental health professionals are licensed and credentialed to deliver the best care possible.

Schedule Therapy Sessions

Appointments are typically available within 24-48 hours, however, as this new service is implemented, wait times may vary.

To schedule an appointment: 

  1. Download the AcademicLiveCare free app from Google Play or the App Store, or visit AHPLiveCare.com 
  2. Create an account
  3. Complete your profile
  4. Enter the Service Key: ALCNCSTATE
  5. After creating your account or signing in using your NC State email and password, schedule your free appointment
  6. Note: Appointments may show a fee. This fee will be removed from your account when you enter the promo code during check-in at the time of your appointment
  7. During check-in at the time of your appointment, enter the Promo Code: ALCNCSTATE
