African American Cultural Center Embedded Counseling

Explore personal, interpersonal, academic, and professional concerns that may be impacting your well-being with a counselor connected to AACC.

You can meet with the counselor at a location close to your classes — no need to go across campus to the Counseling Center!

Individual Counseling

Schedule one-on-one appointments, based on your availability.

While Kierra is the embedded counselor for the African American Cultural Center, other counselors on staff are available if you have a preference for a counselor as it relates to gender identity, race, and/or ethnicity.

Your comfort is incredibly important and we want to make sure we provide the best therapeutic experience. Note your preference on our “Request for Services” form. If you don’t list any preferences, we will work with you to find a counselor who is a best fit.
