Katelyn is a licensed clinical social worker who has been providing therapy services since 2021. Prior to working at NC State University, Katelyn gained experience working in various clinical settings, including inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings. Katelyn is passionate about approaching therapy from a nonjudgmental, empathetic, and collaborative perspective, utilizing a combination of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and acceptance and commitment Therapy (ACT). Outside of work, you can find Katelyn reading a fantasy novel, watching a scary movie, or hanging out with her 4 pets.
