Kaleigh Young

Bio
Kaleigh Young is a master’s student at NC State University pursuing a degree in College Counseling and Student Development. She received her B.A.Ed. in Human Development and Family Studies from UNC Chapel Hill in 2022. Kaleigh has previous work experience in k-12 and higher education student support roles.
Kaleigh’s clinical work is an integrative mix of person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and interpersonal process. Kaleigh strives to create a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, challenges, and triumphs. She believes that counseling should be a client-driven journey to greater self-acceptance and holistic well-being. Her goal is to help clients live more fully, authentically, and in alignment with what matters most to them.
