Bio
Olga is a licensed clinical mental health counselor who has been working at the NC State University Counseling Center since 2017. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in cognitive-behavioral theory and providing culturally sensitive, trauma-informed care. Olga believes that the core process of counseling involves increasing clients’ awareness of underlying issues, helping them access the resources within themselves to develop skills needed to address their concerns, and empowering them to take steps toward desired changes. She is also fluent in Ukrainian.
