Bio

Sarah is a counseling intern pursuing a master’s degree in counselor education at East Carolina University. Her goal in therapy is to create a collaborative relationship in which you can heal and grow. She wants you to feel safe and understood. Her core values include the inherent dignity of all people, individual autonomy, compassion, and supporting each student’s unique strengths. As a former nurse, she understands that many people feel that healthcare or wellness spaces are not welcoming to them. It is her goal that all students feel accepted in their work with her. Sarah spent her childhood between Washington, DC, Yokosuka, Japan, and Raleigh, NC. In her spare time, she likes to read books, do yoga, and spend time outside.
