Bio
Dr. Stephanie has over twenty-five years of counseling experience working with varied ages, identities, and backgrounds. She earned a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Howard University. She provides client-centered, trauma-informed, culturally responsive and affirming services in the quest to meet a client “where they are” to support them on their journey to wellness and a life worth living. Dr. Stephanie uses an integrative approach, pulling from cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, family systems and client-centered approaches to treat a range of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationships, health-related concerns and identity-related stress (race, LGBTQ+, etc.).
