Twyla approaches counseling through an existential lens, while utilizing unconditional positive regard, empathy, and laughter when appropriate. Twyla believes that each client should be seen as a ‘whole’ person (all identities/roles/responsibilities they carry) rather than the specific presenting concern(s) reported. Outside the therapeutic space, Twyla is an avid thrift shopper, coffee connoisseur and lover of all things local/minority owned. She loves to travel and learn more about others experiences as well.
