Bio
Yuka strives to create a safe space where students can better understand themselves and utilize their own strengths and resources to improve well-being in mind and body. Her therapeutic approach is collaborative and culturally sensitive, trauma-informed and integrative, drawing from person-centered, strengths-based, interpersonal, EMDR, mindfulness, and other evidence-based strategies. She has enjoyed working with NC State University students since 2016. Yuka also speaks Japanese.
