Pregnancy

Many college women find themselves pregnant and/or are afraid they might be pregnant. Suddenly they are faced with life-changing decisions. They wonder what to do, what their parents and friends will say, whether they will need to quit school, and whom they can turn to for help making decisions.  If you are pregnant, or suspect you might be, make an appointment with the Counseling Center to discuss your pregnancy options.

Both the Counseling Center and Student Health Services can help you make decision that both meet your needs and align with your values and personal beliefs. Pregnancy can result in three outcomes: birth and parenthood, birth and adoption, and termination of the pregnancy by abortion. Both the Counseling Center and Student Health Services have information about all three options and are eager to work non-judgmentally with you as you decide what is right for you.

Our services to you are free and confidential. Remember, you are not alone! The Counseling Center and Women’s Health support you emotionally and provide resources to inform your decision.
