Ag and Sciences Embedded Counseling
Explore personal, interpersonal, academic, and professional concerns that may be impacting your well-being with a counselor who knows the demands of studying in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the College of Sciences
You can meet with the counselor at a location close to your classes — no need to go across campus to the Counseling Center!
Currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students and eligible postdocs in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and College of Sciences have access to these specialized counseling services through NC State’s Embedded Counseling program.
Stop by to speak one-on-one with Luke and get brief counseling support (however that may look to you!). Luke can also help you get set up with services at the Counseling Center (individual therapy, group, and/or workshops).
- Bureau of Mines Building’s Admin Suite Conference Room
Drop-in hours are:
- Tuesdays from 2 – 4 p.m.

While Luke is the embedded counselor for CALS and COS, other counselors on staff are available if you have a preference for a counselor as it relates to gender identity, race, and/or ethnicity.
Your comfort in is incredibly important and we want to make sure we provide the best therapeutic experience. Note your preference on our “Request for Services” form. If you don’t list any preferences, we will work with you to find a counselor who is a best fit.
As needed/requested! Contact Luke if you’d like to discuss a group opportunity for you and your classmates.
