Currently enrolled students in the Institute of Advanced Analytics have access to these specialized counseling services through NC State’s Embedded Counseling program.

Drop-In Hours
Stop by to speak one-on-one with Shacoya and get brief counseling support (however that may look to you!) Shacoya can also help you get set up with services at the Counseling Center (individual therapy, group, and/or workshops).

- Wednesdays from 2 – 4 p.m.
Individual Counseling
Schedule one-on-one appointments, based on your availability.
While Shacoya is the embedded counselor for the Institute of Advanced Analytics, other counselors on staff are available if you have a preference for a counselor as it relates to gender identity, race, and/or ethnicity.
Your comfort is incredibly important and we want to make sure we provide the best therapeutic experience. Note your preference on the IAA Counseling Services Request form. If you don’t list any preferences, we will work with you to find a counselor who is a best fit.
